Characteristics

Like no other course on the planet, these 18 holes designed by master architect David McLay Kidd wind around wise old Guanacaste, Tamarindo and Mango trees. They teeter over the edge of ocean bluffs and plunge down to the sandy shore. And most importantly, each hole has been designed around existing trees. Each is irrigated by natural arroyos. Bridges and cart paths are made from local wood and volcanic stone. This course is the environment, fully sustainable. As it has always been. More than sport. It is an experience and a monument to Mother Nature.
