Characteristics

Corfu Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience, in a mature course designed in 1967 by the Swiss based architect Donald Harradine. It was completed in 1971, and since then players from all over the world have played in over 50 international tournaments.

Corfu Golf Club’s design blends the natural resources of the Ropa Valley with the man made water hazards. The mature 18-hole course, enjoyable for all categories of golfers, includes the river where the myth tells us Odysseus was rescued by Princess Nafsika at its exit on Ermones beach, which is only 800 m. from the Club. The excellent condition of the greens, the tree lined fairways and the bunkers, in combination with the seven lakes, create a unique golf course both for the professional and the amateur golf player, against a backcloth of hills and mountains.

Dozens of animal species gather in the Club’s natural landmark all year round: ducks, herons, robins, goldfinches, fish, hedgehogs, turtles, beavers and many more. Also, the Club’s greens are eco-friendly fertilized with the kind collaboration of local sheep, which help to maintain the harmony with Nature, Golf and Greek traditions.

At the Club House, built of local stone, visitors will find the Club’s Restaurant, where they will enjoy beverages and traditional dishes made by one of the best Corfiot chefs. The Club’s pro shop offers the opportunity to buy nice memorabilia, clothes and accessories.

Corfu Golf Club extends a warm welcome to all visitors and hopes that they enjoy the Golf Course and the beautiful surroundings of the Ropa Valley. Our professional staff will make sure all visitors enjoy their golfing holidays to the utmost.
