Characteristics

Stavanger Golfklubb was founded in 1956 and is one of Norways oldest club. The 18-hole course is situated only 5 km form the town center, and lies in quiet surronudings near the lake "Store Stokkavatn". The course, desogned by British architect Fred Smith has a par of 71. It is a tree lined, and relatively tight layout. Undulating greens and fairways add to the challenge, and many (over 20) championships have been held here, both national and international.
